نيان: تنين رأس السنة الصينية بقلم فيرجينيا لوه-هاغان، رسوم تيموثي بانكس

My kids ask for this one every night now—Mei's bravery hooked them instantly. The story flows beautifully and the art on each page pulls you right into that village.

The illustrations by Timothy Banks are gorgeous and really bring the dragon to life, and I loved how the story explains the origin of Chinese New Year traditions. It's a perfect read for my classroom this February.

My kids were absolutely captivated by Mei's courage in facing the dragon, and the illustrations by Timothy Banks are so vivid they practically leap off the page. It's quickly become our go-to read every Lunar New Year.
