Unwound it to use as a temporary shoelace when one broke on the trail, and the included whistle worked perfectly to signal my group. Solid to have on the wrist for little emergencies like that.

Took this on a weekend hike and the braided cord held up perfectly when I used it to secure my gear to the pack. The built-in whistle came in handy when I got separated from my group for a few minutes, and it's so lightweight I forgot I was wearing it until I needed it.

Had to use the built-in whistle to signal my hiking buddies when I lost sight of them on the trail—it was loud enough to work perfectly. Unwoven the cord later to help secure a tent stake, and it held strong. Exactly the kind of compact backup I want on every trip.
