Passport, Volume 64

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the essay on improvisation so much—it made me look at my own writing process completely differently. The passport itself feels nice to hold and flip through, a small luxury. Definitely worth picking up if you’re looking for fresh creative inspiration.

Jennifer Egan’s essay on improvisation is so sharp and inspiring that I read it twice in one sitting. The whole passport feels like a creative kickstart from the very first page.

The intro from Scribbler sets a playful tone, but the real payoff is Jennifer Egan’s essay on improvisation—it’s dense enough to reread a couple times. Would’ve liked a bit more from Scribbler to balance it out, though.
