Past Project - May 2020

The instructions for the white swan were clear enough that my painting actually looked like the photo for once. I also loved the bonus lesson for the pink roses in that blue and white vase—it was a nice two-for-one project.

I’ve never painted a swan before, but the step-by-step instructions made it surprisingly easy to get that graceful white curve right. The blue and white vase for the roses adds just the right pop of color, even without the paints included in the kit.

The rose vase scene turned out so charming, I’m glad the instructions broke down each step clearly. Painting the white swan was trickier than I expected, but the finished piece looks elegant and balanced.
