Premier Pack August 2023 - QOR Watercolor

The QOR earth tone set mixes beautifully right out of the tube, and the Sapphire #6 filbert holds a surprising amount of water. Working on the Fabriano pad, the colors stay vibrant without bleeding too much. Really pleased with this kit for travel.

I’ve been using the Fabriano 1264 pad with the QOR set, and the paper holds up beautifully even with heavy washes. The Robert Simmons Sapphire #6 filbert is a real workhorse, keeping a perfect point for detail work.

The QOR earth tones mix so smoothly they almost feel like syrup, and the #6 filbert brush holds just the right amount of paint for broad washes. I’ve been using the Fabriano pad for quick sketches and it handles wet layers without buckling.
