The spice blends in this month's Mexican box were incredibly aromatic, and the recipe for mole sauce was clear enough for a weeknight. I added chicken and it came together in about 45 minutes.

I finally got around to making the jollof rice recipe and the spice blend was so fragrant it filled my whole kitchen. Having the pantry staples and spices shipped directly made me actually follow through on a new cuisine.

The spices included are legit—I used the berbere blend on weeknight eggs and it tasted like a tiny trip to Ethiopia. I also love that the recipes assume you have your own protein, so nothing sits in the box going bad.
