世界儿童共同创作的绘本《和平是什么感觉》Feel the Peace

The pages with "peace tastes like" and "peace sounds like" sparked a really thoughtful conversation with my nephew about what calmness means to him. He loved flipping through the watercolor illustrations, especially the one that looks like a warm blanket.

My six-year-old kept asking what peace felt like after we read this, and the watercolor illustrations made it so easy for her to connect. The way the kids describe peace as sounds and tastes is genuinely moving, and I loved paging through the word list together. This one’s a keeper on our shelf.

The fold-out peace word list in 150 languages is what sold me—my son and I spent an afternoon sounding out "peace" in languages we'd never heard of. The gouache art is messy in the best way, like kids actually painted it.
