Wondering what's inside a cardstock paper bundle? This guide explains typical contents, how to use them for crafts, and who should buy one.
Quick answer
A cardstock paper bundle typically contains an assortment of textured, colored sheets in various sizes, perfect for adding structure and visual interest to junk journals, scrapbooks, and mixed media projects.
Why size and texture variety matters
Cardstock bundles often include different sheet sizes and textures to give you flexibility. For example, the Cardstock Paper Bundle offers 25 sheets in assorted sizes and textures. This variety means you can use smaller pieces for tags or pockets and larger sheets for page bases without buying separate packs.
What cardstock bundles typically lack
Most cardstock bundles do not include adhesive, tools, or embellishments. They are raw materials, not complete kits. If you need glue, scissors, or decorative elements, you will need to purchase those separately. This is a trade-off for the low price point and focus on paper variety.
Decision rules for buying a cardstock bundle
- Check the sheet count and size range: Look for bundles that list both the number of sheets and the range of sizes. A bundle like the Cardstock Paper Bundle with 25 sheets gives you enough variety for several projects. More sheets and sizes mean more creative options.
- Match textures to your project type: Smooth cardstock works well for writing and stamping, while textured or patterned sheets add depth to scrapbook pages and junk journal covers. Choose textures that fit your intended use.
- Compare price per sheet: Bundles often offer a lower cost per sheet than buying individual packs. The Cardstock Paper Bundle is priced at USD 5.25 (compared to USD 7.00), making it a budget-friendly choice for crafters. Calculate cost per sheet to ensure you're getting value.
