1lb. Bluetick Bourbon Hot Dogs

I was skeptical about bourbon in a hot dog, but it adds this subtle sweetness that pairs so well with the pork. The skinless casing has a nice snap without being tough, and you can actually taste the quality of the meat.

The hickory smoke really comes through on these, way more than the usual grocery store dogs. Grilled them for a cookout and nobody could tell they're nitrate-free. Two ounces each is a nice size too, one is plenty in a bun.
