国风经典 《两只老鼠胆子大》

My kid giggles every time we get to the part where one mouse claims he can bite a fox’s foot—the rhythm of the words makes it so easy for her to chime in. The round ears and pointy tail descriptions are fun to act out together, and it’s become our go-to bedtime pick.

My three-year-old loves the back-and-forth of the mice arguing who’s braver—the rhyme is catchy enough that I catch myself humming it. A fun way to get her hearing Chinese syllables without it feeling like a lesson.

My 3-year-old loves the part where the mouse bites the fox's foot—the rhythm makes it easy for her to repeat after me. The illustrations are cute, though I wish the pages were a bit sturdier for little hands. It’s a solid pick for Chinese rhyme practice.
