This month’s mini-kit theme was all about water purification, and the included filter tablets work just as described. Used one on a camping trip and it made creek water taste perfectly clean. Nice to have a focused set like this instead of random items.

The fire-starting kit in this month's box was a pleasant surprise, with the ferro rod working on the first try even in damp weather. The water purification tablets included last month have already earned a spot in my go-bag.

The monthly themes keep things practical—last month’s kit had a compact multitool and a mini first-aid pouch I actually tossed in my car. It’s nice getting 6-10 items without having to think about what’s missing.
