国风经典 最佳版本《小蝌蚪找妈妈》

I read this to my daughter before bed, and she kept asking to see the tadpole pictures again. The artwork based on Qi Baishi’s fish and shrimp really makes the story feel special.

My four-year-old sat completely still through the whole story, something that rarely happens with other books. The way the tadpole grows legs and loses its tail as it searches for its mother is both accurate science and a sweet tale.

The illustrations really do echo Qi Baishi's style—my kid kept pointing at the shrimp and asking why they looked so "alive." It's a lovely way to introduce the frog life cycle without it feeling like a lesson.
