Robert J. ★★★★★

Gregg Olsen’s essay on his writing journey is both raw and inspiring, and I found myself dog-earing pages to revisit his advice. The introduction from Scribbler sets the stage perfectly without overshadowing his voice. It’s a compact read that packs real insight into the craft.

James ★★★★★

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the Scribbler introduction alongside Gregg Olsen’s deep dive into his nonfiction writing process. The exclusive essay really gives you a personal look at the grit behind those twenty-nine true crime books.

Samuel ★★★★★

Gregg Olsen's essay on his creative journey was exactly the kind of deep dive I was hoping for. The Scribbler intro set it up nicely, making this feel like a real behind-the-scenes look at a successful author's process.
