The no soil solution. Just add water and watch these peat pellets grow to 5 x their original size. Once they have absorbed as much water as they can all you need to do is plant your seeds and watch them grow! A great natural alternative to pots which don't require soil. When the seedlings are ready plant them straight into a large pot or in the ground.

Placed a pellet in a cup of warm water and watched it puff up to about five times its size in under ten minutes, which was oddly satisfying. Popped a couple of tomato seeds in and they’ve sprouted within a week with no mess at all.

I dropped a pellet in a container of warm water and watched it expand into a perfect little puck in under five minutes. The compact size made it easy to start a dozen tomato seeds on my windowsill without any mess.
