Philodendron 'Pink Princess'

Philodendron 'Pink Princess' - Main image
$50.99 $74.99 In stock

Botanical Name: Philodendron erubescens 'Pink Princess'

Common Names: Pink Princess

Description: Apart from the splendid pink and dark green leaves, the plant is identified by large waxy leaves. These leaves can grow up to 9” long and 5” wide. The pinkness on the leaves is due to a lack of chlorophyll—the chemical that makes plants’ leaves green. However, some greenness on the leaves is also necessary so that the plants can photosynthesize.

Important notice: The plant you received may have less pink than the plant pictured; however, as the plant matures you'll see more pink variegation.

The waxy texture on these leaves really makes the pink variegation pop under my grow lights. I've had mine for two weeks and a new leaf with that marbled pattern is already unfurling.

Henry ★★★★★

The dark green leaves have such a rich, velvety look that contrasts perfectly with the random splashes of pink. I’ve had it for two weeks and a new leaf is already unfurling with beautiful variegation.

Brian D. ★★★★★

I was nervous about shipping a plant, but it arrived with the pink variegation intact and the large waxy leaves looking totally healthy. Tucked it into a bright spot and it's already pushing out a new leaf with a lovely splash of pink.
