Natalie ★★★★★

My 4-year-old asks for "one more story" every night now, and I've caught her tracing the characters in the air while I read. The 48 stories are short enough for her attention span, and she's already spotting a few characters on her own without me drilling her.

Lily K. ★★★★★

The ink wash illustrations are the real draw here — my daughter traces the brushstrokes with her finger before she even tries the characters. Two weeks in and she's pointing out 山 and 水 on her own, which I didn't expect so soon.

Avery ★★★★★

My 4-year-old asks for "the river story" every night now, and she's started pointing at characters in other books saying "that one's water." The 48 stories are short enough to hold her attention, and I like that I'm not drilling flashcards at her.
