Dinner with Mr. Darcy *WAREHOUSE SALE*

I bought this for a book club meeting and ended up reading the Austen quotes out loud while we cooked. The modern adaptations of the Regency recipes are straightforward, so nothing felt like a history project. Made the whole evening feel a bit more elegant.

The Regency-era recipes are surprisingly approachable for a modern kitchen, and the lemon posset came out silky smooth on my first try. I love flipping to the Austen quotes between courses for a little literary flavor.

The recipe for lemon posset turned out silky and surprisingly simple, and the quote next to it made me smile before I even started cooking. It’s the perfect mix of authentic Regency charm and instructions that actually work in my tiny modern kitchen.
