I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the card stock—much sturdier than the flimsy ones I've used before. The monthly selection brings back so many memories of baking with my grandmother. It's become my favorite kitchen companion.

The variety of recipes each month is like getting a little surprise in the mail, and the cards themselves are sturdy enough to survive flour-covered hands. Three months in and I've already baked things I'd forgotten my grandmother used to make, which is exactly what I hoped for.

The five or six cards that show up every month give me something new to bake without having to hunt through my phone. Last month's apple cake recipe tasted exactly like the one my grandmother used to make on Sundays.
