Piezo Buzzer (5V)

Finally got one of these 5V buzzers for my microcontroller clock project and it's loud enough to hear across the room. The 2kHz pitch from the small 12mm disc is surprisingly clear with a square wave input.

Needed a simple audio indicator for my Arduino project, and this little 12mm buzzer does the job—it's loud enough for my workbench. The 2kHz tone is clear and crisp with a square wave input. Would be nice if it came with longer leads, but it works fine for the price.

Feeding it a square wave from my microcontroller gave clean, crisp tones right in that 2kHz range, which is perfect for UI feedback. The 12mm size is compact enough to tuck into tight enclosures without sacrificing volume.
