The illustrations of kids glued to their screens really hit home for my 4-year-old, and now she actually reminds me to put my phone away during dinner. It's opened up some great conversations about our family's screen rules without feeling like a lecture.

My kid actually paused mid-phone-scroll to point at the picture of the kid missing the birthday cake—that’s when the message clicked. The everyday scenes are drawn so simply, even my two-year-old gets the gist, and now we read it together before screen time instead of after a tantrum.

The illustrations of everyday scenes really helped my 3-year-old grasp why I ask him to put the phone down during meals. He now points to the book and says "no phones at the table" on his own.
